Bud Light x Pride

If you look at the biggest names in music, representation from the LGBTQ+ community is sparse. As a partner of Pride, and a brand that champions music, Bud Light decided to drive change, and help an LGBTQ+ artist break through in the music industry.

Bud Light gave unknown LGBTQ+ artist Jordan Alexander the opportunity to write and record a song with award-winning musician, and LGBTQ+ advocate, Carly Rae Jepsen. The song debuted in the biggest way possible: from the Bud Light float at the Toronto Pride parade where we shot the music video filmed right alongside the community.

In addition, Bud Light released limited-edition Pride cans nationwide, that highlighted the LGBT in our logo with $100,000 from sales going to Rainbow Railroad, an organization that helps LGBTQ+ individuals escape persecution.

While in the studio we also worked to further highlight the talents of the LGBTQ+ community by working with Toronto Artist Ness Lee to create the songs artwork.
